Hairdressing Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship opportunity for the right candidate. Will be working in the salon and learning the skills to be a fully qualified hair stylist. There are great opportunities for further training and development. If you have a keen interest in making others feel and look good then this is the opportunity for you.

As part of the apprenticeship you will be responsible for general cleanliness of the salon, customer service and assisting the stylists where necessary. This will help you to gather more experience and skills and improve your knowledge of hairdressing. As a busy salon we pride ourselves on all staff working together to cover the customer’s expectations.

Learners will complete either a level 1 Functional Skills qualification if they have low or no previous GCSEs, or a level 2 Functional skill if they have a grade 2 or 3. All apprentices, regardless of grade, will complete embedded maths and English set by their Individual Learning Plan which is accessed online.

Learners achieving the Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals in Hairdressing can gain employment in a salon as a Hairdresser, carrying out day to day tasks such as: customer service, shampooing hair, cutting, styling and finishing and colouring and perming.
