About the Role

Our small and friendly business is looking to recruit an enthusiastic team player wanting to start a career in business administration. You will work within both our reception and compliance administration department and be supported throughout your qualification with real experience to complement your learning.

Once trained, you will be working both autonomously and as part of the team. You will need the confidence to deal with learners, parents and clients/visitors face-to-face, as well as via email and on the telephone, so a good standard of communication is essential.

Administrative elements including:

  • Enrolling and completing learners on the PICS management information system

  • Registering learners for their qualifications with the awarding organisation

  • Claiming certificates

  • Generating in-house certificates

  • Filing and photocopying

Customer service elements including:

  • Greeting customers

  • Dealing with telephone calls

  • Ensuring learners and clients/visitors sign in

  • Designing displays
  • Keeping reception and restroom clean and tidy

  • Using Word and Excel

  • Adhere to all of Oracle’s policies and procedures including Data Protection, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding

    This list is a brief overview with many varied duties not listed above.

The centre is easily accessible in Doncaster Centre. Applicants to consider how they can get to the centre on time with their chosen method of transport.

Progression into full-time employment following completion of the apprenticeship.

About the Training

  • Business Administrator Standard level 3 or Customer Service level 2, subject to grades and interview
  • English and Maths Functional Skills (if needed)
  • End Point Assessment.
  • Monthly tutor sessions

The journey began in 1999 above a supermarket in Doncaster’s busy market place, with only 4 staff and 18 learners, the Director; Diane Logan wanted to create a training organisation that was passionate about the Hair and Beauty Industry and high quality training, but also passionate about its learners! Twenty years later they offer places annually to 200 applicants for, Apprenticeship and Advanced Learner Loan provision, alongside commercial training and study programmes. They have two state of the art training centres in Doncaster and Rotherham and are supported by over 100 local Employers who offer to support our young people through giving work placements or by employing our Apprentices.
