About the Role

Due to an increase in workload, I am looking to recruit an apprentice site joiner to support me, working on new housing developments in the local area of Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire.

  • Joists
  • Stair fitting
  • 1st fixing
  • 2nd fixing
  • Front and back doors fitting
  • Garage doors fitting
  • Canopy fitting
To be considered for this vacancy, candidates must be able to travel with ease to the Edwinstowe area of Nottinghamshire as this is where the contracts are based.

At the end of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a full-time, permanent role alongside further, relevant training to support your continued employment within the sector. 

About the Training

Carpentry and Joinery Level 2.

This programme is delivered using a day release model. This means that for one day per week (during term time), you are required to attend our construction campus (NG17) for learning activities that support the development of new knowledge, skills and behaviours supporting longer term professional competency. 

About the Employer

I run an independent joinery business, specialising in new build housing developments with 20 years in the trade. We as a company are recognised by the new build site managers for our high standard of work, contributing to the over all success of many sites and pride of job award.
