About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our growing IT team at Nexus Multi Academy Trust for an 18 - 24-month apprenticeship where you will gain hands on experience of IT, Infrastructure and AV support whilst following a more structured training programme with the Sheffield College.

  • IT Support - responding to helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Infrastructure support - working with the infrastructure team to assist with network, hardware and system maintenance
  • Audio Visual Support - setting up and maintaining audio-visual equipment in meeting rooms and teaching spaces
  • Customer Service - providing friendly, professional support to staff across Headquarters and School sites
  • Contributing to projects - contributing to digital transformation projects to improve systems, processes and user experience through technology across the trust
• Five GCSEs, (including English, maths and a Science or Technology subject; a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications and/or experience • Existing experience must be substantially different to the level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship such that on completion you will have developed a new set of skills. • Existing qualifications must be at a lower level than the level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship unless the training content is materially different.

Opportunity to progress into Junior/Senior IT Engineer roles upon successful completion of apprenticeship. 

About the Training

Information Communications Technician Level 3.

As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to attend Sheffield College, City Campus one day per week.
