Working in glass recycling can be a surprisingly dynamic job, physically demanding at times but ultimately a very rewarding job. It's a hands-on role that requires focus and stamina, a high level of skill, knowledge, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. It involves operating complex equipment and gaining licences in plant vehicles, as well as maintenance and preventative tasks. While the environment can be noisy and occasionally smelly, there's a real sense of contributing to a sustainable future knowing you're diverting valuable resources from landfills and helping to create a cleaner planet.
- After completing this Apprenticeship, you may find yourself completing extra qualifications depending on the role you have enjoyed the most. This may be in Health and Safety or Compliance, or maybe extra plant licences such as the Loading Shovel
