About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our dispensing team in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications. Please note this is an online pharmacy.
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & Safety Responsibility
- Stock rotation
- Use of pharmacy software
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Working within a team environment

- Possibility of a permanent position within the organisation with the opportunity to develop further with a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 apprenticeship for the right candidate
About the Training
- Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] - Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc]
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- In-house training
