About the Role
<p>Duties and responsibilities of this post include providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. You will have involvement in confidential and time-sensitive materials, you will also have access to financial accounts and customer records.</p>
Administrative assistant responsibilities:
- Organise and schedule appointments and meeting
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier records
- Produce and distribute correspondence email, letters, forms etc
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Maintain computer and manual filing system
- Order office supplies
- Provide general support to the Sales & Purchase ledger teams
- Input, understand and translate information within our accounts software
- Provide general support to visitors
- Provide information by answering questions and requests
- Generate reports
- Handle multiple projects
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Carry out administrative duties
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

About the Training
Delivery to be completed on-site and off-the-job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work.
You will gain a L3 Business Admin apprenticeship standard.
