About the Role
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in adult care while earning and learning. As a Care Assistant Apprentice, you will support residents with daily living, develop practical care skills, and work towards a recognised Level 2 qualification in Adult Care. You will work with adults with learning disabilities.</p>
- Working with Adults with learning disabilities
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
- Assisting with meals, hydration and mobility
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Helping residents maintain independence and dignity
- Working as part of a care team to deliver high-quality care
- Keeping care records accurate and up to date
Make sure the applicant can travel to and from work and college at the times stated.
Enhanced DBS check required
Ability to travel to and from work and training as required
Willingness to work shifts including weekends
On completion, apprentices may progress into a permanent Care Assistant role and continue onto Level 3 Adult Care, senior care roles or specialist care pathways.
About the Training
The apprentice will train through RNN Group, combining on-the-job learning with regular college-led training and assessor support in the workplace.

The Glades is an 11 bed home that has recently been refurbished to a high standard to meet the needs and wishes of residents.
The Glades offers residential care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
