About the Role
The Valuation Office Agency is recruiting MSc Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Apprentices across the UK. We are looking for high-potential individuals eager to become a Chartered Surveyor via this challenging and fast-paced apprenticeship. It provides an excellent opportunity to achieve an MSc in Real Estate and MRICS status in just 3 years.
- On joining our Apprenticeship programme you will undertake an integrated programme of work and learning to ensure you get the right mix and breadth of experience required to complete your apprenticeship
- You will undertake a variety of roles and responsibilities as part of your apprenticeship such as advising public sector clients, surveying and valuing properties for, non-domestic rating, inheritance tax and council tax, undertaking development appraisals and much more
All candidates must hold an Honours Degree in a non-property related subject, 2:2 and above. Hold a full UK/EU Driving Licence – A Provisional licence is accepted at application stage. FULL licence must be evidenced within 6 months of take up date.
Job holders will be required to travel on a regular basis, which may involve some overnight stays.
- Once you have completed your apprenticeship you will be a qualified Chartered Surveyor and eligible for an SEO Chartered Surveying role in the Valuation Office Agency
About the Training
- Off-the-job training will be provided by the University College of Estate Management (UCEM)
- On completion you will achieve a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited MSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management
- Rather than attending formal lectures or classes, you’ll study using UCEM’s state-of-the-art online learning environment and digital library, supported with guidance from highly experienced tutors
