About the Role
<p>Enable Futures, a multi-award-winning Apprenticeship Employer, are partnering with GRK Civils, a family-run company who specialise in Groundworks and Civil Engineering, to employ an Apprentice Groundworker. If you love construction and would prefer a physical hands-on role then this is the role for you!</p>
• Site excavation in preparation for groundworks tasks
• Setting and marking out
• Installation of internal and external drainage systems
• Preparing, pouring and laying concrete
• Laying kerbs and flagstones
• Installation of manholes
• Handling and moving loads manually and with mechanical aides
• Wearing appropriate PPE specific to tasks
• Adhering to health and safety
Full time role
About the Training
The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Groundworks Qualification, which will take 24 months (plus End Point Assessment) and will be delivered on a day release basis.
