About the Role

Key tasks include, Learn all skills involved to become a bricklayer. PPE and health and safety. Loading out materials. Jointing and pointing. House keeping. Keeping workspace clean. Laying bricks and blocks to line. Setting out footings, levels. Building superstructure.
You will need a cscs card to start apprenticeship.

About the Training

  • Sheffield college 1 day a week
  • 29 hours a week hours workplace training to be a bricklayer.
  • Training for a level 2 brickwork qualification
  • Maths and English at college if required
  • NVQ level 2 qualification achieved at end of course to be a qualified bricklayer

About the Employer

  • We are a bricklaying team that work on new housing sites, there is 2-3 to people in the team and work in South Yorkshire. We work in a safe environment where health and safety is in place and PPE must be worn.
