The apprentice will support teams that conduct a broad range of 1st, 2nd and final fix work that will include but not limited to:

  • Roof timbers, floor joists, staircases, and partition frames - 1st fix
  • External & internal doors, window frames, skirting boards, cupboards, and shelving - 2nd fix
  • Completing final adjustments, repairs, and touch-ups before a project is completed - Final fix

Construction experience is desirable but not essential. A flexible ‘can do’ attitude is essential and the ability to work well in a team environment. Working across sites around the UK with regular nights away the apprentice needs to have excellent team player skills the ability to drive would be advantageous.

Advancement within the company framework and potential to undertake a Level 3 Advanced apprenticeship for the right candidate.

About the Training

Carpentry and Joinery Level 2.

The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Worksop campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Site Joiner.
