About the Role
A career entry role to develop valuable multi trade building and specialist construction industry skills, working across a wide range of client's residential and commercial properties.
Tasks will include brick work, joinery, plastering, dry lining and other maintenance and repair tasks.
Reporting to the business owner your daily duties will include building and construction processes such as:
- Brickwork
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Joinery
- Plastering
- Flooring
- Guttering
- Dry lining and skimming
- Maintenance and repair tasks
- Manage and record paperwork
Full clean driving licence with own transport would be advantageous
Demonstrate the importance of customer service
Understand and demonstrate the importance of health and safety in the workplace
Sustainable full-time employment prospects subject to performance evaluation and successful completion of the apprenticeship.
About the Training
Apprenticeship Standard Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 including end point assessment over different vocational disciplines.
Attend Sheffield College Campus both City (S2 2RL) and Advanced Technology Centre (S2 3DH) for specific training over the duration of the programme.
