About the Role
As part of our commitment to growing and developing talent within our workforce, we are offering an exciting opportunity to enrol on a Digital & Technology Solutions degree level apprenticeship, starting September 1st, 2025.
- As part of your day to day duties and responsibilities you will:
- Provide advice and first line support regarding the usability of desktop equipment, mobile equipment and also use of accompanying software.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the main IT systems used by the organisation.
- Support a series of projects relating to improved use of Information Communications Technology across the business. Involvement in these projects can include business, systems and data analysis, system design, report production, training delivery and 1st line support.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, managers, and service providers to ensure the effectiveness of the ICT Team.
- Contribute to the Company’s wider commitment to Value for Money and continuous improvement by making suggestions for efficiency savings and service improvements.
- Extract and collate relevant data from a variety of sources and information systems to assist in the preliminary analysis of a service area.
- Undertake research on a range of IT issues.
- Support members of the team in the delivery of IT projects within their service plans.

Although a permanent job cannot be guaranteed at the end of the apprenticeship, our Career Start Co-ordinators will support the apprentice to apply for permanent positions either at St. Leger Homes or elsewhere.

- Training will take place in the workplace and Sheffield Hallam University.
