About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our Service Desk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to start their career in IT, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential technical skills.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of computer operating systems and applications
- Perform basic troubleshooting and support tasks under supervision
- Prepare, pack, and ship IT equipment to clients or end-users
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software deployments
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to users via email, phone, and ticketing systems
- Work closely with the Service Desk team to learn and develop troubleshooting skills
- Follow IT processes and procedures to ensure smooth service delivery
- Keep up to date with IT industry developments and actively participate in training
- Possible career progression
About the Training
- Delivery to be completed on-site and off-the-job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work
- Student to complete an Information Communication Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
