About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in information and communication technology while working towards a recognised qualification.
- Provide first-line ICT support to staff and/or customers
- Assist with setting up computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Support the maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems
- Help troubleshoot basic technical issues (password resets, connectivity, software errors)
- Install and update software under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of IT issues and solutions
- Assist with cybersecurity and data protection practices
- Support ICT projects and system upgrades
- Follow company policies and IT procedures at all times
- Strong interest in ICT and technology
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic understanding of computers and Windows systems
- Problem-solving attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of hardware or software troubleshooting
- Any previous IT coursework or qualifications
The successful candidate may be chosen to have a full-time role after completing their apprenticeship.
