About the Role
<p>Join Shiningstars Nursery as a Level 5 Apprentice and become part of a warm, supportive team. Gain hands-on experience delivering high-quality care and education, supporting children’s development through play and building positive relationships with families, while completing your apprenticeship training.</p>
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Support children’s emotional, social, physical and educational development
- Plan and take part in age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times
- Support daily routines including meals, toileting and rest times
- Work effectively as part of a supportive team
- Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Previous experience in a nursery setting is desirable.
Progression opportunities will be discussed following the successful completion of the apprenticeship.
About the Training
Training will take place within the workplace at Shiningstars Nursery through remote online learning and virtual sessions with a dedicated Skills Coach. Training will be delivered regularly throughout the apprenticeship, alongside normal working hours.
