Your training and responsibilities as an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Carry out welding activities including use of a MIG/TIG welder, and other ancillary machinery and equipment
- Creating complex plate fabrications, utilising machinery such as a band saw, circular saw guillotine, pillar drill
- Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly
- Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts
- Work to quality standards required for the components and to maintain the ISO
- Weld joints in accordance with approved welding procedures and quality requirements (TIG, MIG)
- Undertake final inspections of finished components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself
- When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded.

About the Training
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Rotherham campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
About the Employer
Established in 2015, Craft Form are specialist engineers able to work with ferrous and non-ferrous, as well as Stainless Steel metals to produce fabrications, repairs, or the execution of specialist bespoke projects. They operate a team of fully trained and qualified technical welding staff, many with specialist knowledge and many years of experience between them. Based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, they have undertaken projects for many industrial applications and establishments, including Ministry of Defence work.
