Want hands-on experience, real skills, and the chance to learn from trained professionals who genuinely invest in you? Welfare Repair is looking for a motivated individual to join their highly skilled team at their Maltby workshop as an apprentice Technician/Mechanic.
Your training and responsibilities as an Apprentice Technician/Mechanic, will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop
- Complete a range of services/repairs and inspect and prepare a vehicle to the required quality standard for handover to the customer
- Use a range of diagnostic equipment
- Remove and replace a range of parts and components where repair is not possible
- Engage customers and provide a consistently good service
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself
- When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded
You’ll develop your skills alongside time-served Techs who are eager to pass on their knowledge, help you learn a variety of duties and support the whole garage. You’ll be taught and mentored to achieve your full potential and become another fully qualified member of the team.

Please consider that this business is ideally looking for someone with some experience working on vehicles or who has already completed a course. Also, because of the location, the ideal candidate will need to have a mode of transport to get there.

About the Training
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists; RNN Group at their dedicated motor vehicle training centre based at the Dearne Valley Campus (Rotherham). You’d attend on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and qualified Technician/Mechanic.
