About the Role
<p>Do you want to start your career as a dental nurse? If so, Ridgeway Dental Practice based in Sheffield has a fantastic opportunity for the correct candidate. Reporting to the Manager, day to day duties will include; assisting the dentist, working in the sterilisation room and providing outstanding levels of customers service.</p>
Your role will include:
- Assisting the dentist in the dental surgery, with clinical situations and dealing with and communicating with patients
- Assisting with treatments and using the computer to assist with recording information
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the surgery and the readiness of instruments and materials for the dentist to use
- Working in the sterilisation room you would be responsible for ensuring that all equipment passes through the correct process ready for reuse
Possibility of full time employment upon succesful completion of apprenticeship.
About the Training
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to attend college 1 day per week based at The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.
