About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to support our growing marketing and communication efforts. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to develop and share compelling content, manage campaigns and help amplify the vision and values of Active Fusion across multiple channels.

No two weeks at Active Fusion are the same. Here's what a typical week in the life might look like:

Monday: Attend a team meeting, plan social media content and create a short video highlight reel from a recent programme.

Tuesday: Visit a community or school programme to capture images, video and interviews; then edit and upload content.

Wednesday: Draft blog posts or case studies, schedule email newsletters and assist with the marketing preparation of an upcoming corporate event.

Thursday: Represent Active Fusion at a community event, distributing marketing materials and engaging with attendees.

Friday: Review social media and campaign analytics, update the content calendar and brain storm ideas for a future campaign.

In addition to Maths and English grade 4 and above, it is essential you have at least 1 year experience in a marketing, communications or digital media role. It is also desirable if you have further qualifications in marketing, communications or a related field are desirable. In addition to being based at The Hub, will be some travel to off-site events and visits. You must be able to travel to and from work and college. Access to your own vehicle is required with a full UK drivers license. You will be subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and references. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). Potential full time employment following completion of the apprenticeship.
