About the Role

Cornwall Glass are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work within this experienced and well-run company to gain a Customer Service Level 2 apprenticeship. The aim is to support the sales office team by communicating with both our suppliers and customers as well as inputting orders with a high level of accuracy.

As an apprentice you will work at a company and get hand-on experience.  You will gain new skills and work alongside experience staff and tasks will include;

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
  • Schedule site visits, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and clients
  • Maintain accurate records of glazing jobs and materials 
  • Learn how to cut glass
  • Assist with on-site glazing works which will help develop knowledge
  • Have an interest in working with glass
  • Progressing onto higher level opportunities within the company in either sales or management upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

About the Training

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training at college as part of the qualification requirements (one day per month) and the college is based at Marsh Mills in Plymouth.
