About the Role

<p>Join as a Neighbourhood Support Officer and play a vital role in supporting tenants and communities across Sheffield. You will provide excellent customer service, administrative and financial support to internal and external customers, and help deliver and maintain tenancies.</p>

Neighbourhood Support Officers are the friendly first point of contact for tenants and service users via phone calls, e-mails, or in-person at one of the First Point Receptions.

  • You will work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes
  • You will utilise various systems to accurately record and extract data, process correspondence, manage complaints and manage inboxes
  • You will arrange meetings, take notes, and ensure accurate records are kept
  • You will manage purchasing, petty cash, and process invoices in line with procedures
  • You will need excellent IT skills, and must possess sound written and verbal skills

We are looking to recruit someone who is highly driven, motivated, professional, and enthusiastic. This is a key position, responsible for making a vital contribution to income collection and recovery and therefore protecting the Housing Revenue Account.

  • Opportunity to move into a full-time role upon completion of the apprenticeship

About the Training

  • You will be working towards a level 2 housing qualification
  • Training will be one day a week
  • Training centre is located at CDC training, cricket inn road, manor lane, Sheffield, S2 1TR
