About the Role
Picking and packing customer orders, preparing orders for dispatch, stock management and general warehouse duties.
- Handle goods safely in and out of the warehouse
- Pick and package products/orders for online sales
- Unloading of goods from lorries/delivery trucks
- Checking of products and putting them away in the correct storage location
- Repackaging of products
- Check all orders are loaded for dispatch
- Assist with general warehouse duties
- Learn about the electrical and plumbing trade along the way
- Help with stock and order processing
Possible progression opportunities plus a chance to assist with social media/marketing duties (optional growth)
About the Training
Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship.
